Cate Le Bon and Bradford Cox of Deerhunter have teamed up on new EP Myths 004, which will be out 1st November. The pair recorded the EP at Martha Myths festival in Texas - theirs is the fourth in a collaborated series. Le Bon said "We committed ourselves to embracing the chaos, surrendering to all moments and moods that travelled through. It’s a crude holiday scrapbook shared by all involved, an amalgamation of the changes in mood and light that shaped the days". Now, a little teaser single, 'Secretary' has been dropped from the upcoming EP. The production is minimal, and slightly ghostly as piano chords play and dissonant clicking noises plod along. Le Bon's vocals are fabulously childish and decorated with harmony as her words pay homage to bored office workers: "Can I take some time, can you stay on hold, take a holiday, make amendments." Cox's vocals just feature on the end of the track, with a narrative style, asking "Why are my eyes so bare to the light, to the light?" -Ellie Rose-Davies
